Scheduling a Tour
Reservations are required for all visits of 10 or more adults. Space is limited, so please make your group reservation at least two weeks in advance. A time slot of 60 minutes is recommended to allow your group to fully enjoy the museum and the Music Store, its gift shop. The last daily start time available for a tour is 3:30 p.m. Please limit groups to no more than 90 per time slot. If your group is larger, we will be happy to refer you to other area museums and attractions to divide the time between locations. If you would like a guided tour, please request one at time of booking.
Fees
The fee for a group tour is $6.00 per adult and $3.50 per child (4-16). The tour leader and bus driver will receive free admission. Note: a minimum of 10 adults is required in order for the group to qualify for the $6.00 rate. No coupons or other discounts apply to tours.
Payment
Payment is due upon your arrival. At time of payment, all members of the group must be present. If you bring a prepared check that is different from the total amount due upon arrival, you will be expected to pay the balance due, if any. Refunds of more than $20.00 will be reimbursed via the U.S. Postal Service. In order to receive the discounted rate, we ask that you one payment for the group. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express.
Arrival
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. This allows time for bus unloading, payment, and restroom and water fountain visits without consuming tour time. Bus parking is available in the museum's lot. If your group will be more than 15 minutes late, please notify the museum at 888-GA-ROCKS or 478-751-3334. Large groups may be given admission wristbands as proof of payment.
Music Store
Groups are invited to visit the Music Store, the museum's gift shop. The Music Store features CDs from Georgia musicians, DVDs, apparel, and unique gift items.
Cancellations/Rescheduling
The museum can accommodate only a limited number of visitors at any given time. As a courtesy to other guests, if you are unable to be here on your scheduled day, please notify the museum immediately to cancel or reschedule your visit. Your cooperation will enable us to accommodate another group in your place.
Safety and Security
For the safety of our visitors, please make sure any children with your group do not run inside the building. Also, please be aware that no backpacks or large bags are allowed in the exhibit area. Photography is permitted. The museum is fully ADA compliant and accessible.
