Otis Redding: I've Got Dreams To Remember

In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the passing of the legendary Otis Redding, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame presents an exhibit of music, photographs, film and artifacts documenting the singer's life and musical legacy. Guest curated by Ellen Fleurov, president of Crossroads Traveling Exhibitions, Atlanta, Georgia. Named "Best Museum Exhibition" during statewide Georgia Association of Museum Galleries conference in January 2008.

In collaboration with The Big "O" Youth Educational Dream Foundation, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame presents a week-long camp for singers and songwriters ages 13-17. The program will include Georgia music history, from soul to hip-hop, a music business overview, vocal coaching and songwriting fundamentals.

Fundraiser for the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Foundation at the Cox Capitol Theatre

performances. A tribute to the late soul icon on his birthday marks the closing of the year-long exhibition, Otis Redding: I’ve Got Dreams to Remember.

Organized by the Southern Arts Federation.
