Visiting the Hall of Fame:

Seniors & Military/College students with ID: $6

DIRECTIONS
I-75 to downtown Macon; take I-16 East; Exit 2 on MLK, Jr. Blvd. Go south over Otis Redding Memorial Bridge. Museum is 3 blocks up on the left. More detailed directions are available at the bottom of this page.

PARKING
The Georgia Music Hall of Fame offers plentiful free, on-site parking, including for buses/motorcoaches with an unloading zone located next to the museum entrance.

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mon. - Sat.
1 - 5 p.m. Sun.
Closed Thanksgiving, December 25 & 26 and New Year's Day.

What you'll find inside:

Tune Town
Main exhibit hall features winding streets and themed venues housing instruments, career and personal items, performance costumes, videos and music. Venues include: Gospel Chapel, Rhythm & Blues Revue, Skillet Licker Cafe, Gretsch Theater, Vintage Vinyl Record Store, Coca Cola Soda Fountain, Backstage Alley, and Memory Lane.

The Music Factory
Interactive learning space for kids includes hands-on exhibits that explore music composition, styles, instrument families and more. Fun for adults too!

Zell Miller Center for Georgia Music Studies
The museum's library and archives support research and educational activities. Open to the public Mon. - Fri., 9 - 5, and weekends by appointment, the library includes: books, periodicals, sound recordings, videos, printed music, photographs, manuscripts and Internet access to Georgia music websites.

Rentals
Several spaces are available for meetings, parties, receptions, workshops and more. Call 478/751-3334 for more information on amenities and availability.

Music Store
The Georgia Music Hall of Fame's Music Store carries CD and cassette recordings of Georgia artists in all genres, including many rare and autographed selections. Specialty items include T-shirts and other apparel, jewelry, books, posters, souvenirs, toys and music-themed items. No admission charge is required to visit the store.

Centrally located in the heart of Middle Georgia, 75 miles south of Atlanta. Take I-75 N or I-75 South into downtown Macon - take I-16 East (to Savannah). Take Exit 2 off I-16, go right, cross the Otis Redding Memorial Bridge and the Hall of Fame is 3 blocks south on your left.

Traveling west on I-16, take the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. exit, go left, cross the Otis Redding Memorial Bridge and the Hall of Fame is located 3 blocks south on your left.

The Georgia Music Hall of Fame is located in the heart of downtown Macon within walking distance to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, the Tubman African American Museum, the Douglass Theatre and a thriving restaurant and retail district.
